As a future SLP (I am a first year graduate student), I found this article to be very inspiring. I really want to work at the elementary school level as an SLP, so the overall message really motivated me to have this mindset when I do work in a school. By looking at the big picture of therapy, we can look beyond just a student's fluency and examine other factors that are affected by their stuttering. This can give the student a more positive outlook on their fluency challenges and their life!
