I, too, have decided to go into the medical side of Speech Language therapy. I also felt, in my time working in the schools, that each child is not getting the time that they should have. I believe that the SLP has a difficult task of ensuring that each child on the caseload gets the attention that is needed. You are not alone- I have spoken to many therapists who feel the same way. I wish things were different!
