My sentiments exactly! I started a newsletter for a fluency program I was involved in back in October 2007. It was called "Let's Talk About It", and serves people who stutter and the professionals who work with them. Like you, I started in Publisher, and only produced a 2 page newsletter the first 2 times. Then as I got more comfortable, it grew into 4 pages or more, depending on material I got from membership. That is indeed the challenge . . . . . sometimes, I would reprint articles I post in my blog! . . . . . Someone from Friends saw my newsletter and liked the format and color appeal and photos and asked if I could lend a hand with their newsletter. That was in July 208. I became the editor of the electronic version of the friends newsletter starting that September 2008, and have ever since.... I try to put lots of color photos in, kids and parents love it. I still use Publisher, and then convert to PDF, so everyone can open them. For examples, you can see the the newsletter section of the ISAD 2009. . . . . I commend you. Producing newsletters is hard work, that a lot of people who read them don't realize!! You have yours down to three times a year. Thats smart. I do the friends one bi-monthly, and had been doing the college one monthly, but there are changes brewing there. Good job! I can certainly relate to this labor of love. -Pam
