Leanne, you are very right! It is difficulty to develop a severity assessment tool when the measurement target, cluttering, is not completely settled in the literature. We are very aware of this problem, but believe that the need for clinicians (and researchers) to measure cluttering is immediate and can't wait until the complete and true nature of cluttering has been determined with eveyone agreeing. Our tool hopes to be flexible and adapt to future changes in how cluttering is conceived. Measuring cluttering is just too important to not have an assessment tool for it right now.
