Hi, Rebecca - Thank you for your question and for reading my paper. That is an interesting question and one I can't definitively answer at this time. It is possible that auditory attention is affected in individuals who clutter but we are much more complicated than that and the studies that I reported on did not look at this parameter in particular. There could be other things at play, like proprioception, self-monitoring, self-regulation. We can't discount any factors because we just haven't looked specifically and systematically at any of these areas. What are your thoughts on this?
