Hi, Jenna - Thank you for your interest in my paper and for your questions. Let me start by answering your second question first. If a cluttering client were also diagnosed with APD I would definitely consult with the diagnosing audiologist regarding any recommended strategies/intervention for the auditory component. It would be important for me to understand what aspects of AP are affected and to what degree, and to discuss how these deficits could impact on speech therapy. I would consider the need for additional testing to rule out (or confirm) phonological or linguistic involvement. This information would be helpful in guiding my intervention plan. In addition to recommendations made by the audiologist, if a phonological or linguistic component is also present, I would look to our colleagues in language and phonology for intervention ideas. As far as prognosis is concerned, my expectation would be that it would depend on the number and severity of co-occurring factors. Thanks again, Jenna!
