Thanks for sharing this experience from your clinical work. I also used making the child watching himself on video with increased self awareness in outcome. If the client didn´t immediately note the problem, I made him transcribe what he said. Your idea of letter- writing (and posting it!) is really interesting because it makes the work on establishing a meta level so very concrete and as I read it, it gives you a tool to evaluate and maintain progress.
