Thank you Kerrie for you kind words. Just like you, we all would want to see the diagnostics and treatment of cluttering at least as early as informative years. IMO, due to the nature of cluttering - the clutterrer is quite often unaware of his/her problem - it requires the team work: parents, SLP's, and educators. As a proponent of including LD (Learning Disabilities) component into the all teachers' Professional Development, I would want to see the same happening to speech/language disorders. I see several major advantages of such training: 1) increase of awareness; 2) continuation of services (teachers see children more time than parents nowadays; clutterer's problems do not disappear outside the SLP's doors; 3) transfer of skills (teachers are in the position to observe the cluttering, make factual referrals, and maintain progress within the same methodology). We posted invitation to participate in this conference on National Institute for Literacy Learning Disabilities listserv. I am sure that we have participants of the list among our readers now. Besides, Dr. Reichel and I are working on creating partnerships with faculties of psychology and pediatrics in Ukraine. Warm regards, Tatyana Exum
