Dear respondents to the questionnaire and co-authors of this article,Your stories showed remarkable strength, courage, confidence, persistence, and optimism, but more importantly, you issued a battle cry for other people to emulate your successes, victories, and conquests over adversity, while still recognizing that often people have to take one step backward as part of the process of moving forward, until they can approach and cross the ever moving and elusive finish line. And as you can see from the papers and discussions in this conference, a powerful and dedicated family of professionals worldwide is in this together with you to ensure that cluttering and stuttering will never prevent anyone from ultimately celebrating successes in all of life’s endeavors. On your behalf I want to thank Drs. Myers and Scaler-Scott for their acknowledgment of your contribution in the conference and for their passionate torch that they carry in front of us. Good luck! Isabella Reichel
