Mrs. Gommoll - thank you for sharing your heartfelt, and often heart-wrenching, trials that you went through in order to get your son Chase the most appropriate, and the best, therapy for his needs. Surely many will be able to identify with this and hopefully will be inspired by your hard work and determination. Congratulations to you for making sure your son received the appropriate therapy, and congratulations to your son Chase, for his excelling in his classes and with his speech! Mrs. Grommoll have you thought about continuing to show your passion and potentially lobby for those schools in your area to learn and apply what they learned from Chase, in their diagnostics and therapy when working with other children with speech difficulties and when deciding who to work with and who "doesn't need" therapy? This would be in order to make sure that other children like Chase don't fall through the cracks? It is great though that now everyone is on board so hopefully it won't happen again, but your determination and hard work might help to continue this positive trend!
