Jessica, Thank you for your comments. I'm honestly not one for giving advice. What I would do is tell her what worked for me, so please feel free to share my story with her. You can also let her know that there were times when I felt helpless too and there were many nights when I cried myself to sleep because I wanted to fix everything but knew I couldn't. Giving up the fight would have meant giving up on my son....and that's just something I'll never do.
