Thank you Kelly. In all fairness, I don't think it took a long time for the school district's SLP to determine that my son had "a" fluency disorder; I think the problem was that the disorder wasn't accurately defined until I hired a private SLP. I've run into so many SLP's that will tell me stuttering and cluttering are the same thing and that therapy is the same for both. We need to get the word out there that they are not one and the same.
