Elizabeth, I apologize for not getting back to you sooner. Our private SLP has had a tremendous impact our son. I think that the fact that Chase wakes up early on Sunday mornings eager to meet with his SLP for his two hour sessions speaks for itself. I don't know too many ten year olds who are eager to get up for anything on Sunday mornings. Chase has told me point blank on many occassions that he believes the sessions have really helped him. Friends and family both comment on his improved speech. I just asked Chase what techniques he has enjoyed most of all and his response was speech games, videotaping/tape recording and playback.
