Hi, Maxine - I'd also add that sometimes people who clutter (only) or who clutter/stammer are misdiagnosed as stammerers only. This is largely because well-meaning clinicians may not be as acquainted with cluttering symptoms and how they are differentiated from stuttering symptoms. While there are overlaps in treatment strategies for the two fluency disorders (e.g., rate control), there are also therapy approaches unique to each. Thanks for asking this very important question.
