I have a friend who's father is a moderate stutterer. Ever since I have known him, he has stuttered. Up until now, I had no reason to believe that my friend had a fluency disorder, but after learning about cluttering, I feel differently. Her speech is very rapid and my friends and I would regularly tease her about slowing down because we couldn't always follow her messages to us. I would never have put two and two together if I hadn't known her father was a stuttering and subsequently, hadn't recently learned about cluttering. Is this common for one family member to stutter while the other clutters?
