Ann, Ken St. Louis just gave you a great answer. I would like to add a few insights and thoughts to this discussion. Indeed there is surprisingly little research about early cluttering. I am beginning to be suspicious that there is something about cluttering that either (1) makes it harder to detect at earlier ages (lets say younger than 7 years of age), or (2)that there is something about speech of young children that doesn't bring it out yet (young children speak more slowly than older children for example).
