Interestingly that a few pioneers in the cluttering field from Germany (de Hirsch, Freund, Froeschels) and Austria( Weiss)who later came to the United States, suggested that stuttering is caused by cluttering. De Hirsch (1970), believed that children with cluttering-like behavior whose linguistic systems are disorganized and immature tend to become stutterers as a result of emotional conflict and stress. Will these children with stuttering recover from cluttering based on such theoretical framework? I think that this was the assumption.
