Dear John and others, thanks for this discussion. Language production considers sentence structures and word structures. In the article posted on the conference I explained that PWC is not related to language disorders but that language disturbances occur as a result of the fast speech rate, audible as word or phrase repetitions and errors in pausing or errors in word structure (phonological encoding). But the difference between a disorder and a disturbance is very important: when a person has a disorder no situation can be created in which a person does the job without errors; when there is a disturbance a person can do the job in some situations and fails in others. In cluttering language production disturbances are seen either on the sentence or word level. Gr. Yvonne
