I'm working with a 13 year old who clutters. His mother used drugs while pregnant. In addition, his early home environments were extremely traumatic. According to his psychiatrist, the symptoms of maternal drug use and cluttering, especially this boy's severe attention deficit and limited impulse control are consistent with the biological effects we see from maternal drug use. Is there any research indicating the incidence of cluttering due to biological issues? How about treatment differences if this is the cause? Thank you Marjorie Foer
