I would like to send you the answer I gave Isabella Reichel for this article. Later,we both agree that Israel is a westren country, so my answer wasn't included in the article. Cluttering in Hebrew is: "Dibur Hatuf" דיבור חטוף. In our country, SLPs are very aware of Cluttering, it`s diagnosis and treatment. Lately there is more reseach and publishing in this field. The prevalence of cluttering is relatively higher in the more religious population. Cluttering is definitely viewed differently from Stuttering- among SLPs and all the others. The services providers for treating cluttering are only SLP in most of the public and private health institutions (most of them have websites). Usually a PWC do not seek for help him\herself but the parents or spouse encourage him\her to seek it. SLPs use phone\ internet for updates and communication with the client but not for therapy, but there is research and developing units for Tele- rehabilitation for the use of SLPs long distance therapy, I believe that soon we will use it regularly. Still most of the other professionals (besides SLPs) are not aware of Cluttering, besides Neurologists that sometimes view Cluttering as a acquire disorder (in TBI, parkinson and so). It is well known that Isreal`s Health care system is very advanced. SLPs services is widely spread even in more peripheral areas. I believe that since the first conference on Cluttering there is more research in the field. Dr. Ezrati and myself organized a national SLP`s day conference on Cluttering, we both make research in the field and Dr. Ezrati directed and guide M.A and B.A University students to choose reseach in Cluttering. I think there is still a lot of work to be done with Cluttering- more research, more therapy and diagnosis guidelines, and more SLP to join ICA.
