I am not sure when it was first commented. I know that my teacher tried to push me to speech theraphy for several years before I gave up and agreed at age 15. I am not sure how my emotions were at that time, annoyance and some frustration probably. To me what I said made sense- making her and everyone else trying to make me slow down being the ones with the problem, I did not notice how my speech actually was before my speech therapist taped it in my first session.
