Kim, A couple of years ago, a few of my doctoral students challenged me to go out on a limb and run a seminar in cluttering. I thought, "OK, I think I can do this.....I'll also see what otehrs have done". After a little checking around, I found that a doctoral seminar in cluttering may not have ever existed before. Can you believe that???? We did it and I learned a lot, and I hope my students profitted from the experience as well (I think they did as evident through their future work in this area). If you have interest in an area of study, ask one of your professors to teach a seminar in that area. They may say yes. If not, consider a PhD and try to expand your interest and become an expert in that area (By the way, we are still accepting applications :-) ). Thanks for your comments and keep learning!
