Dear Chris and Dr.Bakker, Thank you for your thoughtful response.Based on the evidence from the old literature and from the personal experiences of people with cluttering , negative stereotyping toward them is a reality and it changes upon crossing multicultural and multinational boundaries.Researchers around the world need to continue assessing attitudes towards cluttering in various countries based on the experiences of individuals with cluttering across cultures and countries so that effective anti-stigma curricula and programs can be initiated. An understanding of the awareness of cluttering and the existence of the literature about it is an important prerequisite for initiating such investigation and intervention. Your article describing what has been accomplished so far in countries around the world, with the focus on the situation in South America, is a significant step toward accomplishing this goal. Best wishes, Isabella
