Great story! I am a student in Speech Language Pathology and your story has been very helpful about learning about cluttering. I did know that cluttering is not well researched, but I had no idea that it was so hard to diagnosis and find a SLP who is experienced! I think your story will hopefully help future SLPs to become more knowledgeable in this area of speech. I know insurance companies can be difficult to deal with in this area also, but it is so important that we learn to “define” cluttering so it can be paid by the insurance companies. Cluttering is something that is just now being discovered, but it has really always been around!
