Great question. As a parent, you have to become much more patient. We take simple things for granted that pwc struggle with on a daily basis. We worry if our child will ever overcome these obstacles. How will he do in life? How will he do socially? It does take a toll on ones stress levels. Sometimes you become sadly overwhelmed about the lack of a magic pill and just want to break down and cry. Sometimes you become inspired to do everything you can do to help your child in anyway possible. Sometimes you are proud and happy when you see childs strengths and their joy in life. These are just the things that run in your mind every waking moment. There a lot a frustrating times too. Dealing with insurances, trying to get resources, the lack of awareness makes you want to punch holes in walls and rip your hair out sometimes. But overall, we do our best to turn that bag of worrys into positive outlooks.
