Thanks Michelle. I left the same comments you left for me on Dr Shields paper! Im so glad Claudia is doing well. And Im glad that you got a diag much sooner than my son did. Chatting with Dr Shields helped us a lot. Its amazing how one word can change a lot. She mentioned “pragmatics” to me. That opened up a whole new search world for us. http://www.sacramentoasis.com/index.htm and http://web.me.com/marilynlperry/MARILYN_L_PERRY,_MFT,_PHD/HOME.html I have calls into these places now, but I have a very good feeling that our search for social training (or should I say pragmatic training) is finally over, after 3 years of looking. Funny thing, the first link is held at UC Davis, where The Mind institute works out of. Ive spoken with several people there about social classes and not a hint of that group that’s held over there. I think using the proper terminology was a factor. Its important that the parents perserver and keep pushing until we get a solution. Id love to follow the progress of Claudia. I hope you stay in touch. Thanks for checking out my paper and the postive comments. Please feel free to contact me anytime for anything and I will do my best to help - wongman1@hotmail.com.
