Accurate monitoring can be exhausting in PWC and therefore reduces the possibility to produce a story with good content. It is also true that PWC are told to 'slow down' or 'be calm' so many times, because in fluent speakers slowing down improves fluency and intellibility. These advices (?) do not work but frustrate PWC most of the time. Especially when a PWC is not capable to adjust speech rate for a longer period of time.
