I feel that this post gives me a strong summary of cluttering. I have not heard much about this disorder and the overview given was helpful. I find the three theories you presented are very interesting. I did not realize that a slower speech rate would cause an increase in cluttering. I would think it would be the opposite, considering stuttering increases with a fast rate. However, when you explained that much attention to slow speech is needed, the theory seemed to make sense. I also found it very interesting that a PWC would have more trouble in their home environment than at school or work. I was under the impression that since people are more comfortable at home, and they feel they are under less pressure to communicate, it would be easier. After reading the attention section however, I realized that people do not pay as much attention to speech when they are comfortable. This is a great summary of cluttering and the theories behind it.
