Super story Adam! Hooray for you getting 'paroled' from speech therapy!! I am a speech therapist in Pennsylvania and went to graduate school with your therapist Lou Heite. I work in a hospital and have a teenage patient who is struggling with stuttering. He has just begun stuttering therapy and I thought your article would be a wonderful success story for him to read. He doesn't know anyone else who stutters, doesn't talk in school because his stuttering makes him nervous, etc. I'm sure you can relate to what he is going through. Thank you for writing this article about your success. I hope he can one day have the great outlook that you have and not let his stuttering slow him down!
