I am currently in the Graduate Program at West Virginia University pursuing a Masters Degree in Speech Pathology. I want to work in the school system when I obtain my degree. I wanted to tell you that I found out information regarding IEPs that I did not know until reading your paper. I did not realize you could put a client on "monitoring" status. I think that is an advantage to the IEP process, and it works perfectly for certain clients like Adam. Even though I am still a student and trust me, I am still Learning, in my opinion I think you made the right decision regarding Adam. If I were in your position, I would have done the same!
