Thanks for your response to my paper. I am delighted to meet people who share my passion for the arts. As far as the creative process goes, yes, the company members write the actual script. I think it is vital that the participants not only perform the play but also create it. There is nothing as powerful as performing in a play that you write. As a person who stutters, I grew up not saying the words I wanted to say. At Our Time, we can finally express what we want to say, in our own words and in our own time. Then, we get to perform those words and ideas and share with the public what is in our hearts.
