I actually stood on the roof of my building with a blow horn and yelled "hey you! do you stutter?! do you want to join a theatre company?" and to my surprise, lots of people joined. Just kidding.
The first thing I did was call every Speech-Language-Pathologist in the yellow pages. I explained what I was doing and asked if they worked with any teenagers who stuttered. Then I sent flyers to those SLP's and people began to call. There were also two articles written about Our Time (one in Advance, and one in the ASHA leader) and we got a lot of response from those.
