Sean, I second Joe's comments about the need for consumer organizations to advocate for increased training and exposure to treatment. One concrete example for PWS is to contact your alma mater and see if they are still offering courses in stuttering (if they have an SLP department). Then write the president (and alumni office) and either thank them or let them no you are displeased. Universities don't like unhappy alumni. If you alma mater doesn't have a speech department, then contact your local university and do the same. Universities like to keep the community happy as well.
