This is the first I have read about Stutter Across America, what an inspiring event! I was touched by the whole article, but I was especially touched by the story of the 9 year old girl and her mother. To think this mother and her family had never been told it was "ok" to stutter. I realize this shouldn't surprise me, but the thought of so many people being uninformed about stuttering frustrates me. The need is out there to inform those that stutter and their families (as well as the rest of the population). I think Stutter Across America is a wonderful event. Think of all of the lives you are touching!!! The best of luck in planning for 2003!
