Hi Michelle,

I juudge success has been achieved when the client says they believe they have reached their personal best. The client does not have to do away with stuttering altogether if they don't want to. It may sound odd to think that someone may want to keep a little bit of their stuttering around, but there may be a sense of identity there that a person may not be ready to kiss good-bye. When a person is feeling, thinking, acting, responding, perceiving, believing, and intuiting in a natural way, without holding back their true Self in most situations, then I feel satisfied.
