Hi Chiara!

Thanks for your comments and questions. You asked if the approach I use for the interview process works for every client. No, it does not. I recently worked with a woman who was 27 years old and had a SEVERE phobia of the phone. She was perfectly fluent in conversational speech, but died a million deaths with the mear mention of talking on the phone, she was certain she would stutter. The interview process was not effective, since her fears were so profound. I referred her back to her psychologist. I now have some more training in working with such fears, and would probably try this alternative approach by Serge Kahili King called "Dynamind" which helps people heal using their own energy. I have healed some physical ailments of my own, helped others work on their physical ailments, and used this approach with some clients who stutter. It's fast, easy and seems effective for lifting layers of stress and tension. Serge uses the perspective that illness or disfunction is a result of energy getting stuck. Each time an experience happens it's a one time event, like a wave in the ocean. If there is tension involved in that experience, the tension lands in the body somewhere and is remembered in the body (unconscious mind = body). His technique lifts that layer of tension off the body, and gets the engergy moving again. For stuttering, there are many experiences and hence many layers, but you can work on parts of the "Web" very easily. His book about Dynamind should be out soon, and I believe it has "Dynamind" as the title.

Currently the clients that I have used the imagery with are from 9-16 years of ages.

Reiki is a spiritual method for channeling energy to benefit a person's soul. It is not religious, and therefore anyone can be open to receive it's benefits. In that sense it is like yoga, but yoga involves movements, Reiki recipients can be passive receivers of the energy.

I would say that relaxing, believing that you have intuitive abilities, and are deserving of them, are probably the best ways to prepare for accessing one's intuition. Yoga can help you relax. Breathing is a key factor in relaxing. Listening to your body and mind as it "speaks" to you can also help you tune into your intuition.
