Nancy is right on target. There is nothing great or natural about seeing your kid stutter. The meltdown is devistating. As an adult maybe Retz feels its ok to stuttering--I do not think so. Our future of therapy is with dealing with stuttering in kids. Dr. Van Riper many years ago said that if he had to do it all over again he would have spent more time trying to figure out why kids start to stutter. In my own opinion, if we could figure out why kids develp all the associated stuttering behaviors we would have the puzzle solved. Keep going Nancy. jerry
