Thank you so much for this article. I have never heard of this approach to stuttering treatment before. It really is a wonderful idea. It is great that treatment for stuttering can take place right in the child's home and in familiar territory. One question: this article talks about using this method of treatment with a younk boy who is just starting to stutter. Do you think this method of treatment could work for children who have already started to stutter and have already developed the negative feelings of self and the fears that often accompany stuttering? Or is this treatment method really only for those children who are just starting to stutter?
