Hi Patty,

Thanks for stopping by!

I assume you're speaking of my second story about my fluent Toastmaster speech. "Lucky fluency" happens to me in various degrees all the time. It's nothing really out of the ordinary. What causes it? What causes a raindrop to fall on top of your car? I have no idea, it's just random. Life is full of pretty random events.

Would I like to have it all the time? No. Definitely not. Stuttering is a unique characteristic of me, and I'm happy being who I am. I don't struggle at all with my speech and I live a completely fluent LIFESTYLE. Stuttering actually ADDS to my persona rather than detracts from it. As my paper says, it really is a gift as far as I am concerned. Others may not feel that way, but we're all different.

Good question though. Thanks for asking it!

Russ
