Thanks for your kind words, and for reading my paper. Isn't this a FABULOUS conference? I'm enjoying it no end!
Just so you properly respect your elders <smile>, that speech I gave in Denver didn't win just an area contest, but actually won the Southwest United States REGION Toastmasters Humorous Speech contest in 1996. (Region III in Toastmasters terms.) The Humorous Speech contest doesn't even go up that high any more. It stops at District. If I'm lucky - and luck DOES play a significant part in it - I'll add another District win to my trophy case on November 16th. At least I'm gonna try!
Where would Stutter Step be if you would have taken the Pink Pill many years ago? You have a VERY RARE opportunity to influence the lives of so many people with that film. I like to think that I have played a small part in your success in that work. Together, we ARE making a difference in this world! Thanks in no small part to stuttering!
