The article was very interesting, because it made me aware that there was a difference in the way the brain functions during speech perception when compared to people who stutter and those that do not stutter. If we find a similar pattern associated to stuttering, there could then be research on a better technique on how to reduce stuttering. Can we tell from the PET scans the extent of a child's stuttering along the road?
