Greetings Nathan- First of all, phenomenal article. Not only was it interesting, but it was well supported. You have obviously done your research and use it well.

Secondly, I was really fascinated with the idea of brain plasticity, the critical period and its implications to stuttering therapy. As a graduate student in Speech Language Pathology, I am constantly reading and exploring to find new perspectives in treatment and understanding. I like the idea that speech therapy can contribute to optimal learning and recovery for the person who stutters, regardless of etiology.

I do not want to be an SLP accused of being "out of touch" or insincere due to lack of knowledge. As we note on the online conference, knowledge is readily available, one just has to be open to it. Thanks for your contribution, and I will watch for future published contributions from you.

Many Thanks-

Heidi
