Dear Janis:
My response to Dr. Lavid was retitled by the moderator and I suppose that's why you thought I was referring to the neuroimaging discussion in your paper. In fact, I was responding to Dr. Lavid's mentioning (under the "plasticity of the emotional brain" thread) that hippocampal activity had not been associated with stuttering in brain imaging. His response elsewhere under this heading addresses this issue.
