Thank you for your paper. As an adult stutterer I have found that the "problem" of stuttering has become more psychological than anything else.

You don't mention anxiety or stress in Personal Construct Psychology. I find when going into meetings where there will be "intimidating people" (i.e. people I think are more experienced than me or have more knowledge) than I really need to do some intense self talk and pump myself up with super amounts of confidence to reduce the anxiety. Anticipation is everything for me ... it can determine how most speaking situations will play out.

This is definitely a paper I will post for discussion at the next stuttering support group meeting in San Francisco.

On another note, my paternal grandparents were from County Kerry. Eventually I plan to visit Ireland ... hopefully sooner than later.
