Thank you very much, Leslie, for your nice comments. We agree that fate has been very kind to us, and the temporary setbacks of three years ago now seem very minor indeed when compared with the infinitely greater good that seemed to flow from those setbacks. A religious friend of mine (Paul's) in the U.S. told me soon after my negative experience with ASHA that "everything happens for a reason", and that I would soon see why this occurred - that perhaps there was something much better in store for me.
