Hi, Craig! I hope that our stories will inspire you further to reach all your life goals and to enjoy all your life's pursuits with the utmost happiness. I was nearly as old as you are now when I found my wife Liv through the Internet - I was almost resigned to a lifelong bachelorhood, then everything just fell into place. I wasn't even particularly looking for love at the time - it just fell into my lap (or more accurately, just flew into my computer screen from across the ocean!). For many years, I thought that I needed to be fluent to find true happiness in life. Now I know that is not so - your dreams can come true, no matter what the level your speech fluency happens to be. In my case for example, I wouldn't have found Liv if I DIDN'T stutter - as we met through a website primarily used by people who stutter to correspond with others who stutter or who are interested in the problem. I used to think that stuttering had provided me with nothing positive in life - but now I see that there can be some interesting advantages to being a little bit different from most. Through stuttering I found not only a wife, but a whole new life (in Norway). At 50 you still have the whole second half of your life ahead of you. My very best wishes to you, and I am confident that you will also realize all the dreams that you seek! - Paul
