Dear mendez,

Certainly, I do agree with what you said that some of those 'OLD PRACTICES AND CUSTOMS DO NOT WORK'. As my paper has given you some knowledge as to the situation here, many other papers from different parts of the world have inspired me. The conference is a meeting point and a learning melieu par excellence for many of us as much is learned from the various papers.

As of now it is already clear that we or at least one of us will be visiting the National Institute of Health NIH in Washington next year for further genetic studies with Dr Drayna and the trip will be sponsored by the NIH. We would have loved to be guests at your workshop in New York but the financial position of our association cannot allow us to pay for the experiences involved in such a trip.

As you indicated, we shall be happy to have your group perform here in Cameroon and we wish you all good luck in the search of funds for such a project. While here we shall also like to thrill you to the two cultural dances we have in our group. You will note that all of us do not stutter when we sing even those with very severe stutters.
