First let me tell you that I grew up and live in Norway,a country with a Lutheran state church. This means that every Norwegian is a member from birth if the parents are (and over 90% are). Our current prime minister is a pastor, belonging to the Christian Folks Party. The children are taught religion in the state schools (we only have a handful of private schools). I am a teacher in a state school myself. Almost all children are baptized and later confirmed. Most marriages take place in churches. We therefore have a much more homogeneous religious picture than in the US. BUT it is considered as being highly inappropriate and unethical to advertise one's personal religious beliefs to a pupil, client or patient. Someone who would try such a thing would most likely lose their job. To talk about your religious beliefs in private or in a religious group is another matter, as is teaching children in Sunday school. Therefore from my point of view, I find, for example, that handing out your paper to several families of your child clients who stutter and encouraging other clinicians to do the same, is unethical and inappropriate. That there are actually speech pathologists who act in this way amazes me. You ask "What comes next?" and that is the question I also would like to ask.
