Andrea, there is nothing wrong with opening a Christian Speech Center. I addressed this earlier in a response. I have thought about what you suggest, that is, beginnng therapy from a Biblical perspective and telling clients from the initial call that this is the approach that will be followed.
Regarding your comment about working in the public schools, there is nothing wrong with taking Biblical concepts and applying them in any setting. You can take the steps that Paul recommends in Romans 5, not mention a word about the Bible, and move forward with no problem. What do you think? Nothing has to be mentioned about religion. The close parallel between Van Riper and Paul is what amazed me when I first discovered this.
