Paul, thanks for the clarification. I agree with you that the client must take the lead with any kind of religious/faith discussion in a therapeutic relationship. The purpose of my paper is to provide a scriptural reference base for clinicians who might wish to go in that direction. By the way, would you be interested in putting something together about working with stuttering from a Jewish perspective? I am interested to see what type of actions you would recommend. You and I can probably get the entire Bible covered if we work at it!

You might have noted that I consulted a Jewish cantor for my paper. I would appreciate knowing how to get in touch with you should I need future assistance from the Jewish perspective. My email address is am02@swt.edu. We might need to continue this dialogue after October 22nd!
